What’s wrong with local authorities, why don’t they work and what’s wrong with the people who work for them?
When a council has decided to put a waste incinerator or a commercially run quarry in your back garden if you can’t get the press interested, rally hundreds of people or don’t have the time, money and energy to spend years wading through their bureaucratic bullshit, then it’s a done deal.
The purpose of Councils is to make things work better and improve people’s lives.
- But more and more the sick people working at councils add insult to injuries by worsening everything they touch and ruining people’s lives comes without consequence to themselves.
- They justify the negative impacts on individuals on sociopathic grounds or the excuse that they were obliged to accept the lowest priced option, when those costs were rigged to appear lower.
- These days as an individual, you’re as likely to get a bureaucrat fired for gross misconduct as you are being able to afford legal representation to get through the court system.
Unelected officials can justify anything they want to do.
- When a Council wants to open a quarry or build an incinerator in your back garden, it won’t matter how many lives are negatively impacted because people don’t matter.
- It wont even matter if none of the traffic routes are suitable for HGV traffic or there is a perfectly good site already operating with a direct connection to a motorway 10 miles away if it’s part of the council’s plan to own your garden, it will go ahead.
- The council will instruct someone to invent a mechanism that will transfer your private assets to their control and then happily lie to protestors, councillors, the police and the ombudsman about how it occurred.
Unelected officials can justify anything they say.
- They have adopted lying to the public with the same zeal, stupid smile and a pretence of honesty as our politicians - but they can never be voted out.
- The payoff for people who can lie their way past the public are promoted or moved to other councils to repeat their despicable behaviour on other communities.
- Local Authorities conduct themselves in the same manner as papal conspiracies where they keep pedophile priests from doing time by passing them from from church to church and criminals flee the country to escape facing justice.
