Institutional & personal integrity issues

DEFRA has no excuses for doing nothing. Retract or resign, preferably both.

Only a government institution would get away with writing regulations without any due diligence and rampant negligence. Only DEFRA gave itself the authority to write unenforceable, unworkable and non-universal regulations for an industry that they had no connection to, no experience of and no dialogue with.

Nowhere in working life are protections in place to protect employees from accountability except for corrupt and inept government institutions. And only the most corrupt of organisations would allow anyone to mess up this badly and go unpunished.

We’ve had two years of foot-dragging and inaction from DEFRA and all they've done is taken the opportunity to protect themselves from public accountability by calling us stakeholders and then ignoring every legitimate complaint.

Local authorities are still hounding people out of business because they are still not able to apply any of DEFRA’s regulations with any consistency - and the shit-for-brains architects of the entire disaster were incompetent then, have no credibility now and are happy watching their slow puncture destroy a British industry because if they admit their mistakes they’d face a disciplinary hearing and be fired.
